Primary Purpose

Provide quality customer service within the Center Store (Grocery) Department. Maintain standards, maximize sales through excellent service, and minimize shrink through proper practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Ensure fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
2. Be courteous and helpful to colleagues.
3. Keep shelves and tags clean, stock from tag to tag, and ensure only saleable merchandise is displayed.
4. Handle merchandise according to policies, including ordering, receiving, and displaying.
5. Use company tools like ACIS and CAO effectively.
6. Follow all safety, food safety, and workplace guidelines.
7. Report accidents and unsafe conditions promptly.
8. Comply with all regulations and dress code standards.
9. Complete required training courses successfully.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
3. Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
4. Ability to solve problems using technical information.
5. Must meet age requirements and physical demands of the role.

Physical Requirements

1. Proficiency with computers and communication systems.
2. Repetitive hand and arm motions; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; push/pull heavy objects.
3. Stand and walk for extended periods.
4. Handle various substances and operate equipment.
5. Visual acuity for checking documents.

Salary ranges from $15.80 to $23.70 per hour.
