Job summary

Giant Food in Bethesda is hiring a Bakeoff Assistant to support the Baker in preparing a variety of baked goods and maintaining quality and presentation. You will ensure fresh daily inventory and uphold strict food safety guidelines while delivering a great customer experience.

You will assist with customer orders, follow standardized recipes, and uphold store standards in a fast-paced retail bakery environment. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required.

Demonstrates knowledge in baking recipe execution, and decoration, ensuring all items meet customer preferences and store standards. Works closely with the Baker to ensure fresh daily inventory and uphold strict food safety and sanitation guidelines.
