Job summary

Bayside Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation in Edgewater, MD seeks a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide/Technician to support licensed physical therapists and maintain a smooth therapy environment.

You will assist with sessions, transfer patients, prepare treatment areas, and manage basic admin tasks while upholding HIPAA and safety standards. Evening shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic PT procedures preferred.
• Proficiency with EHR systems preferred.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements.
• Excellent patient handling and transfer skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to assist patients and handle therapy equipment.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including some evenings.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide/Technician to join our healthcare team in Edgewater. In this role, you will support licensed physical therapists in delivering quality patient care and maintaining a smooth-running therapy environment.

• Assist physical therapists with patient treatment sessions and therapeutic exercises

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $15.00-$16.00.Pay is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The Company's incentive compensation plan is subject to change.
