Job description

Psychotherapist
WA state associate licensed (LSWAIC, LMFTA, or LMHCA).

www.ReflectSeattle.com.

Reflect's mission is to provide competent and compassionate support to individuals seeking to heal, grow, and thrive. Through therapy, we empower our clients to overcome challenges and unlock their full potential. Our vision is to eliminate mental health stigma by normalizing therapy and self-care. At this time, we serve primarily individual adult clients, couples, as well as some teens. From time to time, we offer classes, workshops, and events as well, and we hope to continue to grow in this area.

We value the importance of providing high-quality care to our clients. We see our role in supporting and training new therapists (associate level and clinical interns) as core to our mission. We offer weekly clinical supervision and bi-monthly in-house training. We also offer a generous stipend for continuing education (around $1000 a year for full-time).

We are seeking full-time therapists (22-30 sessions per week) to join our practice. Reflect offers the unique opportunity to be part of a group that is growing. Our group is multi-specialty and focused on serving high-functioning adult clients. We are looking for candidates who live in the Seattle area and want to work in a hybrid role with time in our beautiful Capitol Hill offices or new Ballard location.

We are looking for diverse, humble, and ambitious clinicians who share our commitment to social justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion in both our clients and staff. Part of this commitment includes accepting insurance. We also accept some Medicaid/Apple Health plans and offer sliding-scale sessions provided by graduate student interns. Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous, and People of Color are encouraged to apply. We believe in building a team that reflects the communities we serve.

We are aware that many therapists joining a group practice would someday like to start a private practice of their own. After two years of employment in good standing, and after becoming fully licensed, whichever comes later, you will have the option of continuing with our team with a raise and additional benefits, or moving into a private practice of your own with support as a member of a new therapist community we are building.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Work in beautifully furnished offices in a prime location in the Capitol Hill or Ballard neighborhoods of Seattle at least one day a week, doing telehealth from home for part of the week.
  • Competitive pay based on clients served and hours worked, and depending on experience (pay range starts at around 50K-80K for master's level associates, and starts at around 65K to 95K for fully-licensed master's level clinicians, with an equitable salary structure for all therapists based solely on years of experience and years with the company).
  • Bonus pay for meeting productivity targets, up to $1000 per quarter (up to $4000 per year).
  • 2 weeks of PTO/sick time per year.
  • $400 pre-tax health insurance stipend with full-time employment status.
  • Retirement plan with a percentage match
  • Generous stipend for continuing education. (around $1000+ per year for full-time employees).
  • Unlimited ORCA Business Passport covered at 75%
  • In-house weekly clinical supervision for associates.
  • L&I insurance.
  • Paid family medical leave (through WA State)
  • Flexible schedule, weekend work is not required.
  • W2 employment status (not an independent contractor).
  • MacBook provided for professional use.
  • Top EHR (Simple Practice), email, and phone through Google Workspace.
  • Custom note template to help you meet insurance requirements.
  • Malpractice insurance.
  • Licensing renewal fees covered.
  • Comprehensive in-house administrative support, including client matching, scheduling, and billing.
  • A culture of mutual support and accountability.
  • Being part of a team that is invested in and cares deeply about your professional growth.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current associate mental health license in WA State (LSWAIC, LMFTA, LMHCA) in good standing.
  • Ability to effectively build rapport and a therapeutic alliance with clients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and share mutual support with other team members.
  • Desire to be part of a community of therapists, not just a solo practitioner.
  • Ability to self-reflect with a growth mindset.
  • Excited to consult with colleagues, team members, and the clinical director to continue developing clinical skills.
  • Respond to feedback with grace and humility.
  • Seek feedback from supervisor, peers, and colleagues.
  • Utilizes kind, respectful, and professional communication.
  • Commitment to increasing access to healing for BIPOC and LGBTQIA communities.
  • Desire to expand one’s therapeutic knowledge and skills through training, readings, and other educational opportunities.
  • Willingness to take ownership of your practice and caseload by scheduling follow-up appointments.
  • Capacity to build and maintain a caseload of at least 22 client sessions per week.
  • Willingness to work some evenings.
  • Commitment to complete progress notes within 72 hours.
  • Conduct oneself in alignment with the standards of the appropriate professional association and code of ethics associated with your license.

Desired Qualifications, but not required:
