Our team consists of empathetic mission-driven professionals coming together to support the quality and availability of our national telehealth alcohol treatment program. We are seeking a Psychosocial Services Manager to join our rapidly growing team. Ria Health, recognized as the leading national telehealth provider specializing in alcohol use disorder (AUD) treatment, recently raised $18 million in Series A led by SV Health Investors, LLC. The investment will further the momentum of commercial partnerships that include regional and national health plans, including Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealth Group Optum, Beacon Health Options, Highmark Health, and Magellan Health.

Ria’s published outcomes data set the standard for effectiveness in alcohol treatment. The Ria program is delivered through telehealth and by a care team of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Coaches with clinical expertise to manage care and outcomes for Ria Health members.

Ria Health is seeking a Psychosocial Services Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership & Operational Excellence
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of counselors, fostering a collaborative, supportive, and high-performance culture.

  • Contribute to organizational success through effective hiring, onboarding, supervision, and performance management.

  • Oversee team operations to meet departmental goals related to quality, productivity, and member experience.

  • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and key performance indicators (KPIs), supporting ongoing improvement in outcomes and efficiency.

  • Work closely with the department Director to execute program initiatives, evolve care delivery, and meet strategic objectives.

Clinical Consultation & Oversight
  • Provide clinical supervision and consultation to ensure services align with best practices, ethical standards, and measurement-informed care.

  • Collaborate with clinical experts to stay current on emerging AUD treatment methodologies and integrate updates into program delivery.

  • Guide the development and review of individualized treatment plans and provide feedback on clinical documentation.

  • Conduct regular audits to maintain Joint Commission standards, regulatory compliance, and patient safety.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration
  • Partner with leaders across clinical, product, operations, and support teams to drive program development, resolve service delivery challenges, and improve patient outcomes.

  • Serve as a bridge between coaching staff and other departments, ensuring alignment and seamless communication.

Training, Development & Quality Assurance
  • Develop and lead training programs to build staff competencies and enhance clinical quality.

  • Promote a culture of lifelong learning by supporting team members in pursuing continued education and certification.

  • Conduct performance evaluations and individual coaching to encourage professional growth and accountability.

  • Implement quality assurance systems to ensure consistency and effectiveness of services.

Patient-Centered Care & Program Execution
  • Champion a compassionate, culturally sensitive, and member-focused approach to care.

  • Monitor patient satisfaction and retention, making data-driven improvements where necessary.

  • Participate in curriculum enhancements and innovation initiatives under the direction of the department director.

Data & Metric Management
  • Utilize data and reporting tools to track individual and team performance.

  • Identify trends, assess program efficacy, and implement strategies to improve coaching outcomes.

  • Maintain privacy and data security in accordance with HIPAA and Ria Health policies.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Master’s degree (MA/MS) in a clinical or behavioral health-related field.

  • Licensure required: LCSW/LICSW, MLADC, LPC, LMHC, or higher.

  • Certified or eligible for certification as an alcohol and drug counselor equivalent to AADC, CADC II, LAADC, MCAP, or equivalent (IC&RC recognized).

  • 3–5 years of experience in addiction or mental health treatment.

  • 3-5 years of experience in team management, staff supervision, and training facilitation.

  • Strong understanding of evidence-based approaches to AUD treatment.

  • Experience with telehealth platforms and digital communication tools (Zoom, G Suite, Microsoft Suite).

  • Highly organized, strong communicator, and adept at balancing multiple priorities.

  • Comfortable with data tracking, system optimization, and continuous improvement.
