Qualifications

• Mandarin speaker preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and score a variety of psychological assessments, including cognitive, behavioral, and neurodevelopmental evaluations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standardized procedures.
• Prepare a written score summary of patient behavioral observations during testing.
• Provide a clear explanation of the assessment process to patients and/or family members.
• Develop individualized treatment plans focusing on executive functioning skills such as organization, time management, planning, and emotional regulation.
• Provide coaching sessions tailored to clients’ needs, utilizing evidence-based strategies like behavior intervention techniques and social skills training.
• Support clients with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), ADHD, learning disabilities, and other neurodevelopmental conditions through targeted interventions and skill-building activities.
• Maintain detailed medical documentation while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and safeguarding patient confidentiality across all electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Job Summary

The psychometrist/EF coach is responsible for the administration and scoring of psychological tests under the direction and supervision of a licensed clinical psychologist. The psychometrist may also be responsible for collecting demographic information from the patient or patient’s family/guardian.

Schedule Requirements

• Must be available to work on Saturdays.


• Must be able to commit to the agreed-upon weekly schedule.

• Required Education (minimum): Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field.


• Experience: An internship or work experience in a clinically relevant setting of psychology.


• Preferred, but not required: Mandarin speaker.

This position is accredited by the California Board of Psychology. Upon completion of training, individuals will be eligible to apply for certification as a registered psychological testing technician.
