Job summary

Albright College in Reading, PA, seeks qualified adjunct instructors to teach psychology courses for Fall 2026. Candidates should have strong academic training and college-level teaching experience; Ph.D.

in Psychology preferred, ABD or Master’s with relevant teaching acceptable. Instructors are expected to hold weekly office hours and communicate promptly with students, and to use Canvas to post assignments and grades.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have appropriate academic training in psychology and demonstrated teaching expertise.
• Ph.D. in Psychology preferred; however, ABD or Master’s in Psychology with teaching experience will be considered.
• College-level teaching experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned psychology courses during the Fall 2026 semester.
• Hold at least one hour of office time per week.
• Respond promptly to student inquiries and maintain regular communication with the department.
• Proficiently use Canvas LMS to post assignments, announcements and grades.
