Job summary

Salt Lake Community College invites applications for an adjunct instructor in Psychology. Under supervision, you will teach various PSY classes offered by SLCC. This pooled position reviews applications as positions become available.

Requires a Master’s in Psychology (or related field); Ph.D. in Psychology preferred. Experience teaching at college or high school level. Compensation is paid at $1,056 per instructional unit, with adjunct appointments made semester by semester.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching at the college or high school level.
• Ability to prepare and teach classes following department and SLCC curricular requirements.
• Provide effective, meaningful and timely feedback to students on their coursework.
• Maintain records of student performance and attendance.
• Provide ADA accommodations as directed by SLCC Accessibility and Disability Services.
• Responds to student questions and concerns in a timely manner.
• Completes required training within the timeframe given by SLCC.
