The LENOWISCO Health District seeks to fill a Psychologist Senior position based at the Scott County Health Department located in Gate City, Virginia. This position will facilitate our Southwest Virginia Child Development Clinic.
This position provides comprehensive psychological care including: clinical interviewing, psychological evaluation, testing, treatment development, and collaborative feedback. Characteristics include: conducting individual assessment services, care review and staffing; serving on interdisciplinary teams; planning, directing, integrating, and coordinating of psychological services and activities; and developing and monitoring quality assurance programs. May serve as a consultant to other Psychologists, counselors, social workers, medical staff, instructors, and administrators on client treatment and/or diagnosis.
This is a restricted position which is solely funded by the Child Development Clinic for a one-year period ending September 30th each year. The availability of funding is scheduled for review annually thereafter. Employment is contingent on the continued availability of grant or non-general funds.
