Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted license in Pennsylvania (PhD or PsyD).
  • 2+ years licensed experience providing direct psychotherapy to individuals, families, and/or groups.
  • Experience evaluating adults and/or children in outpatient settings.
  • Experience with health psychology.
  • Experience with Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or other EHRs).
  • Knowledge of neuropsychological, CBT and other evidence-based interventions.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of clinical presentations.
  • Ability to complete diagnostic assessments and provide direct therapy in outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual or family therapy sessions based on ethical and medical necessity guidelines; involve patient and/or family in treatment planning as appropriate
  • Develop and coordinate a clinical treatment program for the diagnosis, treatment, or referral of patients presenting mental health conditions

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Participate in our patient growth strategy by providing a profile for online directories and other marketing efforts

Licensed Psychologist

Springfield Behavioral of Pennsylvania part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our team in Springfield, PA. As a member of the Optum Behavioral Care team, you'll be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone.

As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, you will treat a wide variety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of our diverse patient population. Primary Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:
  • Active and unrestricted (PhD, PsyD) license in the state of Pennsylvania
  • 2+ years licensed experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals, families and/or groups
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience evaluating adults and/or children in an outpatient clinical setting
  • Experience with health psychology
  • Experience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation - Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or other EHRs)
  • Knowledge and experience in providing neuropsychological, CBT, and other evidence-based interventions
  • Proven ability to work with a wide range of clinical presentations
  • Proven ability to complete diagnostic assessments, general psychiatric testing, and provide direct therapy in an outpatient clinical setting

Pay Range: $97,300 - $146,100 annual total cash target pay

Annual total cash compensation for this role assumes full time employment and generally follows the range above, includes earnings from hourly pay (32/hr) and incentive pay and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your pay, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
