Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a licensed psychologist to conduct evaluations in homes and preschools across the North Shore of Nassau County, NY. The role offers part-time or full-time potential with after-school hours, and compensation per evaluation.

Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, writing reports, and maintaining communication with families and supervisors, with benefits for full-time staff. Doctoral degree and NY licensure required.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree in Psychology.
• NYS Licensed or Limited Permit Psychologist.
• New York State School Psychologist Certificate.
• Experience with or evaluating children on the autism spectrum.
• Experience evaluating preschool age children.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a setting focusing on supporting children and their families.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations and social/developmental histories for children of various ages.
• Utilize standardized assessment tools as listed (Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence-Fourth Edition; Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development-Fourth Edition; Conners Early Childhood Behavior Rating Scales; BASC-3; Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales).
• Write comprehensive diagnostic and psychological reports.
• Maintain positive communication between supervisors, employees and families.
• Ensure compliance with all pertinent government and agency regulations.
• Participate in meetings as needed.

Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.
