Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) seeks a part-time doctoral-level psychologist to join the Health Integration Program (HIP), an outpatient clinic for adults with chronic schizophrenia-spectrum illnesses in Cambridge Hospital Campus and Malden Street Care Center. The role offers a Harvard Medical School appointment and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

HIP provides comprehensive assessment, psychopharmacology, individual/group/family therapy, care coordination and peer support.

Qualifications

• Part-time doctoral-level psychologist with experience treating chronic and serious mental illness (SMI).
• Collaborates with psychiatrists, social workers, residents and community providers in a team-based model of care.
• Provides evidence-based psychotherapy for adults with schizophrenia-spectrum illnesses.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy (individual, group, and family) for adults with chronic mental illness.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Address patients’ complex behavioral, medical, and psychosocial needs in collaboration with psychiatrists and others.
