Join a talented team of individuals who serve this country by caring for our Nation’s heroes! Clay Consulting is looking to hire Psychologists to perform one-time, in-person, Behavioral Health Examinations for veterans and active‑duty military personnel. This is a part‑time (16hrs/week) position.

Summary

At Clay Consulting you will apply your expertise in the evaluation and diagnosis of psychological health conditions. As a disability examiner, you gather and synthesize clinical evidence through medical and military record reviews, interviews with Veterans, and face‑to‑face examinations. You develop a medical opinion of the likelihood that the Veteran’s condition is related to their military service, ensuring a timely and expert examination that helps the Veteran’s claim be heard and processed by VBA.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial exam of claimant
• Conduct psychological, developmental, and cognitive‑deficit assessments including but not limited to test administration and interpretation
• Prepare intake summaries and case summaries; maintain confidential records
• Chart claimants’ treatment and progress in accordance with state, federal, and facility regulations and guidelines and in keeping with accepted community standards
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Psychology (Ph.D., PsyD)
• Graduate of an APA‑accredited program
• Active and unrestricted psychologist license in state
• Knowledge of psychological testing techniques, administration, and interpretation
