• Doctoral degree in Psychology or a related field.
• Current, active license as a Psychologist in the state of employment.
• Ability to meet initial and ongoing correctional facility security clearance requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication, clinical assessment, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals involved in the criminal justice system.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological and court-ordered forensic evaluations as required.
• Provide clinical assessments, treatment recommendations, and documentation for individuals undergoing competency restoration.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans to support patients' clinical needs and competency restoration goals.
• Prepare psychological reports, court documentation, and recommendations when requested.
• Provide expert testimony regarding forensic evaluations and professional opinions when required.
• Collaborate with behavioral health staff, correctional personnel, state hospitals, and community providers to coordinate care.
• Monitor patient progress and document clinical findings, treatment outcomes, and recommendations.
• Ensure timely completion of evaluations, reports, admissions, and discharges in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with organizational policies, facility regulations, state laws, and professional standards.
• Participate in clinical meetings, case consultations, and other behavioral health activities as assigned.
• Maintain professional boundaries and ethical standards while working in a correctional healthcare environment.
