Position Overview

Responsibilities

• Preadmission screenings
• Psychologist evaluation of inmates admitted to the program
• Crisis intervention
• Individual therapy
• Treatment and discharge planning
• Participation in interdisciplinary team evaluations
• Consultation with psychiatrist, nursing, and other staff
• Participation in staff meetings, institutional committees, and consultations with custody staff
• Supervision and training of students, interns, unlicensed psychologists, and other staff
• Program evaluation and research participation
• Consultation on research design and analysis of data

Benefits and Compensation

• Base salary P $11,496; Q $13,937 (subject to HAM authorization)
• Recruitment and retention bonus: a one-time stipend up to $10,000 and a monthly differential over the first year totaling up to $20,000
• Referral bonus: $5,000 for current employees remaining employed with CCHCS for 90 days
• Personal Leave Program 2025: five leave credits per month through June 2027, with a 3% baseline salary reduction for qualified employees
