Job Description

To provide expert acute mental health and chemical dependency services to patients and their family members. To administer psychological testing to patients and summarize findings to the attending MD and treatment team to guide appropriate patient care. The goal of these services is to treat the presenting illness and return the patient to a previous or higher level of functioning within the community.

Qualifications

• PhD in Psychology or a Doctor of Psychology degree
• Licensed clinical experience required in: assessment, referral, case management chemical dependency, cognitive therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, group therapy, individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, and short-term treatment.
• Licensed experience in psychological test administration, scoring, interpretation, report writing, and feedback
• Experience in an acute psychiatric environment preferred.
• License (Active & in good standing) to practice in the state of California by CA Board or Psychology
• Current BOP-sanctioned eligibility to provide clinical supervision for doctoral students, post-docs, MFT/SW Trainees & Interns
• Current BOP-sanctioned eligibility to provide psychological testing supervision for doctoral students, post-docs

Ages of Patients Served - This position will serve age groups: Adolescent, Adults, and Geriatric.

Salary Range: $73.02 - $97.03 USD Hour
