FullShift Staffing, LLC is seeking an experienced School Psychologist to join our leadership team. You will provide counseling, conduct psycho-educational evaluations, and collaborate with IEP teams to support student success.

You will work with school leaders and Special Education staff to deliver professional development and ensure services meet state requirements. A California credential and driver license are required.

  • Valid School Psychologist Credential.

Responsibilities

  • Providing psychological counseling to students, parents, and staff.
  • Conducting psycho-educational evaluations and developing reports.
  • Offering counseling and referral to community resources as needed.
  • Observing pupils in classrooms and school settings.
  • Serving on the IEP team for students with psychological concerns.
  • Facilitating IEP goals and objectives for each child.
  • Administering and evaluating standard psychological tests as needed.
  • Maintaining appropriate records and coordinating with staff.
  • Developing programs for eligible students in collaboration with parents.
  • Ensuring services comply with state laws and regulations.
  • Fulfilling other school psychologist duties as they arise.

Job description

FullShift Staffing, LLC -

We are seeking an experienced, like-minded educator to join our leadership team as the School Psychologist. The School Psychologist will work consistently and creatively to meet the needs of all students, be responsible for academic advising and student socialization, collaborate on the Child Study Team, and partner with School Leaders and campus-based Special Education teams to provide related professional development to teachers and staff.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE ROLE:
  • Providing psychological counseling to students, parents, and staff
  • Conducting psycho-educational evaluations of school-aged children identified or suspected of having learning or behavioral disabilities, and to develop reports on findings.
  • Providing psychological counseling to students, parents, and staff, and as needed make referral to appropriate community resources.
  • Observing pupils in classrooms and other school settings
  • Serving as member of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team for students with psychological concerns
  • Facilitating goals and objectives per individual child's educational plan
  • Administering and evaluating standard psychological tests to assess the intellectual, educational, emotional, social, and behavioral development of referred students, if needed
  • Maintaining appropriate records
  • Working in coordination with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs for eligible students.
  • Ensuring all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations.
  • Fulfilling any other school psychologist needs that arise in the school.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Any combination equivalent to master's degree in educational or clinical psychology, including at least one year of internship under the supervision of a credentialed school psychologist.

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Valid School Psychologist Credential.
  • Valid California driver's license.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Successful experience in planning and providing School Phycologist services to children in a medical or educational setting.
