Open Door Health Services is seeking a full-time Psychologist in Muncie, Indiana, to provide individual and group counseling within an integrated behavioral health model.

You will deliver trauma-informed care to diverse patients, collaborate with primary care and community partners, and may supervise trainees. Requires Indiana license or eligibility (HSPP) and a doctoral degree in psychology from an APA-accredited program.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in counseling, school, or clinical psychology from an APA accredited doctoral program.
• Licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist with Health Services Provider in Psychology (HSPP) endorsement in Indiana.
• One year of post-graduate clinical experience preferred.

Open Door Health Services is seeking a full-time Psychologist in Muncie, Indiana.

Overview

Psychologists at Open Door Health Services plan, organize, and deliver equitable, trauma-informed behavioral health services to patients and families within Open Door’s integrated care model.

In this role, you will provide individual and group counseling services to patients with a wide range of behavioral health needs, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use concerns. You will collaborate closely with primary care providers, families, and community partners to ensure coordinated and integrated care. You may supervise and evaluate the performance of postdoctoral fellows, predoctoral interns, students, and licensed masters – level clinicians.

This position works with adults and children and involves approximately 90% direct clinical care, 10% administrative and documentation time, and ~36 patient visits per week.

Roles and Responsibilities

Successful candidates will have:

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of clinical documentation and diagnostic standards (ICD)

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a team-based, integrated care environment
• Comfort using electronic health records (EHRs) and digital assessment tools

Qualifications

• Doctorate in counseling, school, or clinical psychology from an APA accredited doctoral program
• One year of post-graduate experience in a clinical setting, preferred
• Licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist with Health Services Provider in Psychology (HSPP) endorsement in the State of Indiana
• Valid Indiana driver’s license or ability to travel between sites as needed

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Frequent exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to clinic environment.
• Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range or use of approved adaptive equipment.
• Requires standing, walking or sitting for long periods of time. Occasional bending, stretching or lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Requires the ability to work under stressful situations.
