Ashton North LLC seeks a dedicated Psychologist to join our team in a correctional facility setting. The role focuses on developing and delivering psychological services, conducting assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support inmate mental health.

The ideal candidate is licensed, has experience in clinical or correctional settings, and excels in counseling techniques and assessments. Onsite work is required, and a signing bonus may be offered during negotiations.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychologist with a valid state license.
• Proven experience in a clinical or correctional setting is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and counseling techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments through clinical interviews and examination of available records.
• Collaborate with other clinical staff, including psychiatrists, mental health providers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure integrated and comprehensive care.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on ongoing evaluation of patient needs and functioning.
• Perform regular rounds in various housing areas to evaluate inmate adjustment and mental health requirements.
• Apply psychological counseling theories and techniques to provide effective treatments and interventions.
• Conduct mental health assessments and deliver crisis intervention strategies to support inmates in distress.
• Engage in consultations with staff across various departments to gain insights into behavioral issues and mental health changes among inmates.
