Job summary

Matrix Providers is seeking a licensed Psychologist to join our provider network as an independent contractor to perform disability examinations for Veterans.

As a psychology examiner you will conduct psychological exams and complete disability benefits questionnaires (DBQs) to help the VA accurately process claims. Per diem opportunities with compensation of $84 per hour.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree from a college or university accredited by American Psychological Association (APA).
• Doctorate degree from a recognized college of medicine with completion of an accredited residency in Psychiatry.

Responsibilities

• You will conduct psychological exams and complete applicable Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).
• DBQs help collect necessary medical information so the VA may process a Veteran’s disability claims.
• Typical workflow: Exam Request Received → Testing and Exam Schedule → Provider Reviews Records → Veteran Exam Completion → Report Submitted within 24–48 hours of exam.
