Senior Connections is hiring a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to provide psychotherapy to older adults in long-term care settings across Western Washington, including Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Bellingham, and surrounding communities.

The role offers part-time and full-time options with meaningful, autonomy-supported work within interdisciplinary teams. On-site services emphasize evidence-based approaches and compassionate geriatric care in medically complex environments.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) in Washington State (or license eligible).
• Experience in medical settings, VA, hospital systems, community mental health, or integrated care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site psychotherapy using evidence-based approaches (CBT, ACT, DBT-informed, etc.).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams including nursing and rehabilitation staff.
• Maintain high clinical autonomy with flexible scheduling and strong integration within teams.

Senior Connections is hiring a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to provide psychotherapy services to older adults in long-term care (LTC), skilled nursing facilities (SNF), and assisted living (ALF) communities throughout Western Washington (Tacoma, Olympia, Seattle, Bellingham, Vancouver). This is meaningful, relationship-based work with a medically complex and often underserved population.

• Anxiety Disorders
• Adjustment Disorders
• Grief and end-of-life transitions
• Dementia and cognitive impairment
• Loss of independence and adjustment to long-term care

Our services are Medicare and Medicaid funded, creating a consistent referral stream and sustainable clinical model.

The Role

Provide on-site psychotherapy using evidence-based approaches such as:

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• ACT
• DBT-informed interventions
• Person-Centered Therapy
• Health Psychology and integrated behavioral health approaches

You will collaborate within interdisciplinary medical teams, including:

• Nursing staff
• Rehabilitation teams

This position offers high clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling, and strong interdisciplinary integration.

Schedule & Compensation

• Part-Time and Full-Time positions available
• Competitive compensation ($120,000+)
• Full time clinicians are offered additional benefits (IRA contribution, health care stipend, CEU reimbursement, etc)
• Autonomy in caseload and schedule
