Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester in Antioch, CA, seeks a licensed psychologist to provide mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment and crisis intervention under supervision of a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist for diverse needs.

You will collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and evaluate individualized treatment plans, including outpatient psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families and groups, while maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited program.
• Completion of a 1500-hour psychology internship.
• Current or eligible for California licensure or Psychological Assistant registration.

Responsibilities

• Provides consultation to care providers and supervises mental health trainees.
• Supports members’ families and refers to external resources as needed.
• Reports safety concerns to mandated agencies.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and multitasking skills; professional maturity and ethical integrity.
