Job summary

State of South Carolina's Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in Summerville seeks a Licensed Psycho-Educational Specialist to conduct ASD eligibility evaluations and related testing. The LPES works under supervision to determine eligibility and supports families in navigating services.

• Licensed psychologist or LPES with SC license and 2+ years of ASD experience.
• Experience with ASD screenings, diagnostic and cognitive assessments.
• Ability to work with families, professionals and the public.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive ASD eligibility assessments and testing reports.
• Submits resolution reports within ten business days.
• Engages in ongoing professional development and learning opportunities.
• Provides back-up support to team members.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
