Job summary

Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services in the United States is seeking a Psychiatry physician to provide locum tenens support in an inpatient setting, rounding on adult units and caring for involuntary cases. Responsibilities include weekday day shifts from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrists are encouraged, with Epic EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry.
• Experience in inpatient psychiatry settings.
• Familiar with Epic EMR and managing a diverse caseload.

Responsibilities

• Rounding on adult inpatient psychiatric units, including involuntary cases.
• Covering Weekdays during day shifts, typically Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM.
• Collaborating with the treatment team to coordinate patient care.

Role:

Rounding on adult inpatient psychiatric units, including involuntary cases, with an average daily census of 12–15 patients. Covering weekdays during day shifts, typically Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM.
