Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Psychiatry Physician (Child and Adolescent) for locum tenens coverage in Bangor, Maine. The role involves inpatient child/adolescent psychiatry with daytime Monday–Friday schedule and no on-call requirements.

The provider will manage 10–12 patients per shift, complete credentialing within 60–90 days, and work with Cerner EMR. Board-eligible physicians are invited to apply, with malpractice insurance arranged by AMN. Travel and lodging support available.

Qualifications

• Board-eligible psychiatrist for child/adolescent psychiatry.
• Inpatient setting experience preferred.
