Job summary

Parkridge Valley, part of Parkridge Health System in Chattanooga, seeks a Psychiatry Associate Program Director for the Summer of 2027 to help launch our new Psychiatry GME program.

Candidates must be ABPN board-certified and able to obtain a Tennessee medical license; they should enjoy teaching and have strong administrative and interpersonal skills, with a 10-hour monthly clinical time and oversight of four residents per year.

Qualifications

• Must be board certified in psychiatry (ABPN).
• Must have or be able to obtain a Tennessee medical license.
• Must have a desire to teach.
• Must have strong administrative and team building skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Clinical time: 10 hours per month.
• Four residents per year for a total of 16 in the program.
