Job summary

Concord Hospital in Concord, NH, seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist to join our faculty team in the NHDFMR family medicine residency. You will provide psychiatric consultations within the Family Health Center and collaborate with residents, psychologists, and other clinicians.

The role emphasizes medical education, mentoring residents, curriculum development, and scholarly activity, with a 0.75 FTE (30 hours) schedule and opportunities through Dartmouth's Geisel School of

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist
• New Hampshire medical license (or eligibility)
• DEA certification (or eligibility)
• Interest and experience in medical education strongly preferred
• Child and Adolescent Psychiatry dual training or experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide approximately 6-8 patient contact hours per week through consultative psychiatric services within the Family Health Center.
• Collaborate with family medicine residents, faculty, behavioral health clinicians, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care, including psychiatric consultations, clinical guidance, and chart review support.
• Participate in collaborative care activities serving patients with complex medical, psychiatric, and social needs.
• Develop and maintain an established connection with the inpatient psychiatric unit at Concord Hospital.
