Alameda Health System in California seeks a psychiatrist to provide clinical evaluation, diagnosis and prescribing within a multidisciplinary team. You will supervise licensed staff, coordinate treatment plans and deliver care across emergency, urgent care and inpatient settings.
The role requires MD/DO, active CA license or board eligibility in Psychiatry, CPI training, and experience in community mental health services.
Under general direction, provides psychiatric evaluation and diagnosis, prescribes medications, supervises and collaborates with other team members, and facilitates treatment plans. Performs related duties as required.

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of medicine or osteopathic medicine with an MD or DO.
Minimum Experience: Prior community mental health services systems experience.
Required Licenses/Certifications: CPI -Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (required for all positions at John George Psychiatric Pavilion; and certain positions in the Emergency Department).
Required Licenses/Certifications: Valid Postgraduate Training License with approval from Residency Program Director; or Valid CA License to practice Medicine with eligibility for certification in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Pay Rate: $271.95 / Hour
The pay range for this position reflects the base pay scale for the role at Alameda Health System. Final compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, departmental equity, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and the operational needs of the organization.
