Job summary

CommonSpirit Health in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a General Adult Psychiatrist to join the Psychiatric Associates at Lasting Hope Recovery Center. The role offers outpatient focus with potential hybrid inpatient/outpatient practice, a Monday–Friday schedule, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

You will provide tailored treatment, engage in educational activities with residents and fellows, and benefit from strong leadership, guaranteed base salary with starting bonus and relocation

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Adult Psychiatry by the ABPN.
• Active or eligible to obtain an unrestricted license in Iowa.
• DEA in good standing.
• BLS certification.
• A record of excellence in clinical care and education.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing high quality, compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored, coordinated treatment to patients with mental and behavioral conditions.
• Balance inpatient and outpatient care as needed with a flexible, hybrid practice model.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, NPs, psychologists, social workers, and patient care navigators.
• Engage in teaching and academic activities with Psychiatry Residents and Fellows.
• Adhere to evidence-based medicine guidelines and measure outcomes with the team.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our General Adult Psychiatrist you will join our dynamic Psychiatric Associates team providing outpatient care at Lasting Hope Recovery Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Here you will join a team of psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, psychologists, licensed social workers and patient care navigators. Whether you are looking for inpatient or outpatient practice models, the CHI Health network has the flexibility to fit your career goals.

In this role you would have a consistent Monday - Friday schedule, with the flexibility to pursue a hybrid practice balancing inpatient and outpatient care, if desired. Your core focus would be providing tailored, personal, and coordinated treatment to patients experiencing a wide array of mental and behavioral conditions. Beyond direct patient care, you would engage in minor academic activities. You would be supported by a robust leadership team committed to professional growth and longevity, this role offers a stable and rewarding environment for a psychiatrist to thrive.

Success in this role is measured through a combination of your productivity, evidence in meeting clinical benchmarks, and effectively collaborating with the multidisciplinary team. Further indicators of success include high patient satisfaction scores, reflecting the personalized and coordinated care you provide, and consistent adherence to evidence-based medicine guidelines, ensuring the most effective and up-to-date treatments for your patients.

We are offering a guaranteed two-year base salary, a starting bonus, and relocation assistance for new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology - General Adult Psychiatry
• Active or Eligible to obtain an unrestricted license in Iowa
• DEA in good standing with no restrictions
