Manhattan Psychiatric Center (MPC), an OMH Joint Commission accredited facility in New York, seeks Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrists for its Competency Restoration Unit (CRU). The role involves comprehensive psychiatric assessments, Admissions, and managing a caseload of 8–10 patients.

You will develop treatment plans with medication management and support competency restoration for individuals aged 18 and older.

Formación

• Must have NYS license to practice medicine.
• ABPN board certification or eligibility required.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and patient admissions.
• Oversee an average caseload of 8–10 individuals.
• Create treatment plans including medication management.
• Identify and treat psychiatric symptoms that impair competency.
• Assist counsel in legal proceedings and support competency restoration.
• Provide competency-focused psychoeducation and timely clinical documentation.
