Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join our Outpatient Substance Use Disorder (SUD) & Mental Health Treatment Center in Waynesboro, PA. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality psychiatric care in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

This position requires a board-certified psychiatrist with at least 2 years of experience, and knowledge of co-occurring disorders and substance use treatment. A sign-on bonus is offered to new hires.

Qualifications

• Board Certified Psychiatrist with licensure.
• Minimum 2 years of psychiatric practice experience.
• Knowledge of co-occurring disorders, substance use treatment, and regulatory standards (HIPAA, CARF, OMH, DDAP).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up appointments.
• Provide medication management and monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Review lab results and monitor therapeutic blood levels.
• Prepare discharge documentation, including physician orders and prescriptions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated client care.
• Support and guide clinical staff to maintain high standards of care.
• Participate in and complete peer review processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Experience in drug and alcohol services
