Job summary

MedCura Health is seeking a compassionate and board-certified Psychiatrist in Stone Mountain, Georgia, to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapeutic support across all ages. The ideal candidate thrives in collaborative multidisciplinary teams, focusing on community mental health.

Qualifications

  • Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry.
  • Valid Georgia medical license and DEA registration.
  • Experience working in community health or underserved populations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide medication management and psychotherapy as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with primary care providers, therapists, and case managers.
  • Participate in care coordination and team meetings.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Stay current with best practices in psychiatry and FQHC compliance standards.
