Job summary

Devereux Florida is seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and direct patient care. The role collaborates with physicians and care teams to diagnose, intervene, and adjust treatment plans in a dynamic behavioral health setting.

  • Active Medicaid provider number and authorized to provide psychiatric services by Chapter 464, F.S. required.
  • Two years' psychiatric experience required.
  • Two years' experience working with children and adolescents required.

Devereux Florida provides programs and services for individuals with significant intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or emotional or behavioral challenges. This position is responsible for:

  • Completing psychiatric evaluations
  • Working in collaboration with physician to provide diagnostic and interventionpatient care
  • Monitoring and reevaluations as needed
  • Medication management with monthly notes
  • Participation in physicianpeer review and relevant meetings

Position Details:

Schedule: Monday-Thursday (32 hours/week) + On-Call Rotation (Friday-Sunday)

Location: Viera Campus - In-Person position

Pay: Starts at $255,960/yr.

Qualifications

Education and Licensure:

  • Doctorate Degree required

  • Two years' experience working with children and adolescents preferred
