Job summary

Bristol Health Counseling Center is seeking a full-time Adult Psychiatrist who is board-certified or board-eligible to join our outpatient program focused on adults and older adults. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary team.

You will provide medication management and psychotherapy, collaborate with hospital services for transfers, and participate in on-site partial hospital and intensive outpatient programs to support patients needing higher levels

Qualifications

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry.
  • Experience caring for older adults in outpatient settings.
  • Ability to provide medication management and psychotherapy in a patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality mental health care to adults and aging population.
  • Provide medication management and individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Coordinate with Bristol Hospital ED and inpatient transfers as needed.
  • Support on-site partial hospital and intensive outpatient programs.

The Counseling Center of Bristol Health is seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Adult Psychiatrist with experience in caring for older adults to join our outpatient program. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, specialized mental health care to adults and an aging population within a collaborative, patient-centered environment. It's a meaningful opportunity to support and enhance the well-being of older members of our community.

Our team at the Counseling Center is an experienced, multidisciplinary group dedicated to providing supportive care. Our treatment approach includes medication management, as well as individual, group, and family therapy. We offer partial hospital and intensive outpatient programs on-site to support patients who require higher levels of care. For those needing inpatient treatment, we work closely with Bristol Hospital's Emergency Department, Crisis Social Workers, and Physicians to ensure smooth and coordinated transfers.
