Job summary

Northern Light Acadia Hospital in Bangor, ME is seeking an Inpatient Coordinator for the Psychiatric Unit. This full-time role schedules 6:00 AM–6:30 PM, 36 hours per week, with a sign-on bonus.

You will perform secretarial duties with medical terminology, coordinate unit activities, ensure patient transport safety, and support patient charts and communications according to NLH policies. Requires high school diploma or GED and BLS certification; 0 years experience required.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required prior to independently caring for patients and kept current.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates assigned unit activities.
• Follow up on LIP orders where applicable.
• Coordinate safe transport of patients and items as directed.
• Maintain a safe environment per NLH policies; report hazards.
• May perform other duties on request.
