Qualifications

• Must be licensed LPN in Michigan.
• Psychiatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates professionalism and empathy with patients, families and staff during the admissions process.
• Documents patients’ medical histories and current health updates accurately as part of intake.
• Assesses and reassesses medical and psychiatric status to determine care needs.
• Accompanies patient to unit and assists with transition to the unit.
• Handles incoming crisis calls, makes referrals and completes assessments as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
