Psychiatric Technician, Short-term Psychiatric Unit, Part-time 2nd Shift – Willingboro

Responsibilities

• Ensures the safety of the patient, under the direction of the RN, by implementing applicable Policies and Procedures when rounding on patients and unit.
• Provides therapeutic group and individual activity for patients.
• Provides emotional support and behavioral redirection to patients, under the direction of the RN, by implementing interventions from the multidisciplinary plan.
• Completes necessary physical care including vital signs and Point of Care (POC) testing.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience in working with the Behavioral Health population in a residential or inpatient setting.
• Experience in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention preferred.
• HS Diploma.
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology preferred.

Training/Certifications/Licensure

• BLS certification.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly Rate: $18.88 - $28.29. The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
