Job summary

Maine Medical Center in Maine is seeking a Psychiatric Technician II for the MMC BID SAN shift. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment, supporting treatment plans, and providing compassionate patient care with data documentation for the treatment team.

Required: Bachelor’s in Psychology or Social Services preferred; current BLS or ability to obtain within 30 days; CNA preferred. Three years in human services preferred.

Summary:
The Psychiatric Technician II – MMC BID SAN role is responsible for maintaining a safe and therapeutic setting and implementing individualized treatment plans in cooperation with treatment team members by providing care and emotional support to patients and assisting with the collection and documentation of data.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or Social Services preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
  3. Experience: Three years of experience in human service field preferred.

The pay range for this position is $20.68to $25.10 per hour.
