Job summary

One Vision International is seeking a Psychiatric Technician for a 12-month assignment in California. This full-time position (40 hours/week) runs Monday-Friday with a schedule of 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

The pay range is $35–$40 per hour, with potential for extension based on performance and needs. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Psychiatric Technician training program, and at least 1 year of post-graduation experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Qualifying licensure, certification, or proof of graduation from/completion of an accredited or equivalent Psychiatric Technician training program/school.
• At least 1-year of experience as a Psychiatric Technician after graduation.
• Experience administering, scoring, and reporting on standardized psychological screenings.
• Experience conducting clinical interviews to obtain biopsychosocial histories.
• Knowledge of common psychiatric and addictive disorders, therapeutic communication techniques, and milieu management.
