Job summary

JobDiva, Inc. is seeking a Psych Tech for a 13-week assignment at Rochester's inpatient psychiatric unit. The role requires 2+ years of recent psych tech experience, an AAS degree in Psychology or Sociology, and BLS certification.

The schedule is a floating shift totaling 48 hours per week, with days/evenings/nights rotating. You will provide direct patient care and assist with daily living activities. Responsibilities include participating in rounds and group therapy, reporting patient changes

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent experience as psych tech.
• AAS degree in Psychology or Sociology required.
• BLS – AHA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care, assistance with activities of daily living, social/psychiatric rehabilitation, patient communication.
• Report patient changes to RN, participate in rounds and group therapy.
• Support psychiatric patients under RN direction.
