TrustPoint Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN seeks a Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) to join our inpatient team. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and administer medications within state regulations, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality care.

We offer day/night shifts, rotating weekends, full-time and part-time options, plus sign-on bonuses and shift differentials. Growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess a current RN license as required by state.
• One year of nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral or substance use nursing experience a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Responsabilités

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and their families about various physical and behavioral health conditions.
• Provide nursing care within the standards and scope of nursing practice as defined by state regulations and facility policies.
• Ensure physicians’ orders are legible if taken verbally and transcribed appropriately.
• Ensure patient status is assessed and documented continuously.
• Notify physicians of significant changes in status.
• Complete admission and discharge processing accurately.
• Exhibit therapeutic rapport with patients while maintaining boundaries.
• Coordinate unit activities as directed.
