Qualifications

• Current license to practice nursing in Illinois (or eligible to receive or renew).
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care on a designated unit in line with Hartgrove Hospital's philosophy and goals.
• Coordinate and delegate nursing care using the nursing process within the multidisciplinary team plan.
• Promote and enhance professional nursing practice on the unit; perform shift-based nursing activities.
• Authorized to initiate restraints or seclusion and assess continuation.
