Job summary

Sierra Vista Hospital in south Sacramento is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) to join the Intervention Services Unit. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and evaluate patient care for individuals with emotional, behavioral, and addiction challenges.

The ideal candidate is a licensed RN with a nursing degree who has experience in psychiatric settings, CPR certified, and willing to work overtime or flexible hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an active RN license.
• CPR certification and completion of behavioral management training required.
• Experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Staff Nurse coordinates and evaluates patient care with the health team.
• Prescribes and implements nursing care plans per standards of care.
• May assist with overtime and flexible hours as needed.
