Job summary

MBH Willow House Program in Wickenburg, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care, assess, plan, intervene and evaluate patient needs. You will oversee LPNs and BHTs and work within a multidisciplinary team to promote patient safety and quality health care.

The role emphasizes meticulous documentation, medication education, crisis intervention, and collaboration with physicians to ensure residents receive consistent, high‑quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current AZ or Compact State RN license in good standing.
• CPR and CPI certifications are required.
• Minimum of one year psychiatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient safety through awareness of the environment of care and in all actions that involve patient care.
• Communicates patient safety issues quickly, clearly and effectively.
• Actively participates as a member of the treatment team and collaborates on patient needs.
• Implements nursing care plans in line with physician orders and facility policies.
• Adheres to safe medication administration practices.
• Provide medication education on new medications and address questions.
