Job summary

Amergis, formerly Maxim Healthcare Staffing, seeks a Psychiatric/Mental Health RN to oversee weekly home visits across the Augusta area. This role requires driving with mileage reimbursement and focuses on PMH oversight, prevention, and education in diverse care settings.

The PMH RN will assess and coordinate care for individuals and families, demonstrating clinical judgment and strong critical thinking within regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in-state practicing.
• CPR certification (if applicable).
• TB screening or chest X-ray as required.
• Current health certificate per contract/state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Job description

This will be for the office and will be conducting weekly visits to various homes in the area performing what they call RN oversight

DRIVING REQUIRED (mileage will be reimbursed)

MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE PREFERRED!

The Psychiatric/Mental Health (PMH) Registered Nurse, requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. The PMH RN works in a variety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities when applicable.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
