Job summary

Neolytix, a Chicago North Shore mental wellness center, seeks experienced Psychiatric Physician Assistants to join our multidisciplinary team. You will work closely with psychiatrists to manage medications and coordinate care for clients dealing with stress, grief and trauma in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Master of Physician Assistant Studies required.
• Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences or Biology.
• At least 2 years of PA experience in mental health.
• Understanding of Ketamine treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and staff to deliver integrated care.
• Refer patients for in-patient care when needed.
• Prescribe medications following treatment guidelines.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests; explain results to clients.
• Educate patients on medications, risks, benefits and follow-up.
