Qualifications

• Physician Assistant /Nurse Practitioner degree from an accredited institution.
• Current North Carolina PA-C or NP license.
• Psychiatric CAQ certification.
• 2+ years of practice experience with an adult population in public health setting.
• Strong commitment to practicing in a community health setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and critical thinking; ability to handle stress and work independently.
• High initiative, judgment and discretion to achieve AMH's mission.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in a team-based care model.
• Provide quality psychiatric primary care for adults 18+.
• Coordinate care with support staff and ensure accurate patient documentation.
• Engage in patient education and preventive care within the clinic.
• Maintain compliance with policies and standards of AMH.
