Brightside Health is transforming mental health care through telemedicine and AI-enabled decision support. This remote role lets PMHNPs practice with clinical autonomy while supported by psychiatrists and a nationwide provider network.

You’ll deliver direct patient care via telehealth, maintain licensure across states, and collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure evidence-based, compassionate treatment for diverse patients.

Formación

• Active PMHNP license and PMHNP certification.
• Minimum 2 years autonomous PMHNP practice post-graduation.
• Experience in outpatient settings and telehealth delivery.
• Licensed in at least 4 states; more is preferred.
• Strong written communication and patient education.

Responsabilidades

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – Flexible Telehealth

• Flexible & Remote Telemedicine: Evidence-based approach to psychiatric care via telemedicine, including asynchronous case review, video consultation, and e-prescribing, lowers the barriers to accessing high-quality and affordable care.

Additionally, we facilitate collaboration between our providers and clinical leadership through 1:1 consultations, as well as encourage interaction among colleagues through internal communication forums.

• Measurement-Based Care:Our technology measures symptoms, adherence, and side effects weekly through the active treatment phase and automatically triggers treatment reviews if patients are not improving. We are redefining the provider-patient relationship, supporting encounter-based care with remote and proactive oversight enabled by technology.

• Machine Learning-Powered Clinical Decision Support: Contrary to conventional practice, data can help match patients to medications for better outcomes. Using machine learning and real-time data from patient monitoring, we are building a highly effective clinical decision support tool for prescribing.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain all appropriate licensure to prescribe and dispense medications under applicable state and federal laws

• Have excellent grammar, attention to detail, and proficient at writing medical information at a patient level

• Must be technology savvy and excited about how technology can improve medical care

• Be pleasant, responsive, and willing to collaborate with our team

• Provide direct patient care via telemedicine (remote); including synchronous video consultations and asynchronous messaging

• Consistently responsive to clinical leadership team and highly reliable to our members

• Evaluate patient records, make prescribing decisions, and provide medication-related counseling as needed in a timely manner

• Successful completion of charting within 48 hours of session

• Support a 72-hour messaging response window for patients

Requirements:

• Active and clear APRN license

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner – Certified in Psychiatric & Mental Health (PMHNP Required)

• At least 2 years of autonomous experience practicing as a PMHNP, post-graduate

• Previous experience working in an outpatient setting

• Telehealth experience and a high comfort level of working with technology

• Must be licensed in 4+ states (the more the merrier)

• 8+ hours of availability per week

• Experience working with adolescents is strongly preferred

• Opted in to Medicare/Medicaid
