Rural Health Group, Inc., located in northeastern North Carolina, seeks a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide patient-centered care in outpatient primary care settings. This position serves RHG clinics on the east side, including Enfield, Whitakers, Jackson, Scotland Neck and Rich Square, with a strong emphasis on rural practice and community roots.

• Active and unrestricted APRN license for North Carolina.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic and psychiatric medications.
• Collaborate with primary care providers, social workers and other RHG team members to coordinate integrated care.
• Conduct follow-up evaluations, monitor treatment effectiveness and adherence.
• Educate and communicate treatment options and plans, adherence and coping strategies to patients and families.
• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization for patients with suicidal ideation or acute distress.
• Maintain accurate documentation, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
• Participate in quality improvement and public education efforts in the rural community.
• Work full-time on-site at Rural Health Group in Northeastern North Carolina.

Rural Health Group, Inc., located in scenic northeastern North Carolina, is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide excellent quality patient-centered health care in an outpatient primary care setting. We seek an individual who is committed to rural practice with the desire to establish roots in the community.

This position would serve RHG's clinics located on the "east side" of our service area. These clinics include:

• Enfield
• Whitakers
• Jackson
• Scotland Neck
• Rich Square

RHG welcomes applications from qualified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, with a preference for candidates who have at least two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic and psychiatric medications for a range of mental health conditions.
• Collaborate with primary care providers, social workers and other members of the Rural Health Group team to coordinate integrated care.
• Conduct follow-up evaluations, monitor treatment effectiveness and treatment adherence.
• Educate and communicate treatment options and plans, treatment adherence and coping strategies to patients and families.
• Provide crisis intervention, support and stabilization for individuals experiencing suicidal ideation, aggressive behavior, or other emotional or psychiatric distress which may include a wide range of acute mental health symptoms. Coordinate emergency care and ongoing care as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to all ethical, professional, confidentiality, and legal standards.
• Other duties as required include but are not limited to quality improvement, public education, and improving mental health in the rural community.
• Must be available to work full-time on site at Rural Health Group in Northeastern North Carolina.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of direct patient care in a clinical setting.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health.
• Current licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
• Active and unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license for North Carolina.
• Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority
