Clarvida is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a part-time role in the Auburn, WA area. The NP will evaluate and manage medications for adults discharged from state hospitals or living in assisted living settings, with regular visits and occasional on-call duties.

The position offers a flexible daytime/evening schedule, with roughly 20 hours per week and opportunities for leadership, mentorship, and additional incentives.

Qualifications

• Geriatric care experience preferred.
• Ability to provide psychiatric medication evaluations and follow-up.
• Willingness to travel monthly or bi-monthly to facilities across WA counties.

Responsibilities

• Meet with adult clients, provide psychiatric medication evaluations and follow-up visits.
• Prescribe medications as needed for clients in state hospitals discharge or in facilities.
• Coordinate with facilities for in-person client meetings as required.

About Your Role

Part Time 20 hours a week. This position works weekdays with an occasional option to work evenings and weekends. There is on-call responsibility twice a year. This is located in Auburn WA area part time 20 hours a week.

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will meet with clients, typically adults who have been discharged from state hospitals, or reside in assisted living facilities or adult family homes and have difficult behaviors to manage. You will meet with your clients regularly to provide individualized psychiatric medication evaluations, prescriptions and follow up visits as needed.

Do the following apply to you?

• PMHNP preference and active ARNP license in WA or ability to become licensed in WA


• Active DEA


• Prior experience working with the geriatric population and/or adults


• Intermediate level skills of technology for at-home tele-health service


• Willing and able to travel once a month or every other month to facilities across various WA counties for in-person client meetings


• Satisfactory results of State and Federal background checks


• Reliable transportation with valid automobile insurance
